Commanding Officer — 2026/2027 Regime

Cadet Major Akinwunmi Ibrahim .M is the Commanding Officer (CO) of the Nigeria Cadet Corps, Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin Command (P’COY), serving during the 2026/2027 regime.

He previously served as Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) during the 2023/2024 regime, holding the rank of Cadet Master Warrant Officer. His previous experience as RSM provided him with a strong foundation in discipline, leadership, training, administration, and command responsibility.

As Commanding Officer, he is committed to strengthening discipline, unity, service, dedication, academic excellence, and leadership within the Command, while advancing its goal of “Protecting Our Campus.”
